Introduction :

I am Harkrishna(Id : 50127) Joined in KPMD Software solutions pvt. ltd. as a Software programmer. I have the total 3.11 years of experience in this Organaisation from 18th August 2014 . and my last working day here is 30th August 2018.

Modules Worked on :

I am involving in lot of modules from my joining.Involved in preparation of ICD9 and ICD10 codes at the starting. And Query alerts data preparation and then writing the rules for PCS coding.

Main Modules Worked on :

PCS Coding :

PCS coding is to identify ICD 10 codes for procedures. Usually coder codes Diagnosis codes by reviewing index file first, later goes to tabular file to give a complete code. For Procedure coding also coder does same work(check for operation in index then goes to particular pcs table). Usually any PCS code contains 7 digits. Each digit has different feature. Digit 1 represents section. Depends on section remaining digit features will change.

Query Alerts :

Query Alert : Main objective of query alert system is to automate CDS work . Query alerts will be generate when a particular disease is not documented by physician but supporting criteria for that disease like labs , medications , signs and symptoms , etiology are documented. KPAI have some default templates and knowledgebase for around 70 diseases to generate alerts when proper criteria met in patient documents This alerts will be helpful to CDS to get their work fast and also increase productivity
